On September 23 and 24, the 43rd edition of the largest international kite event in the Netherlands will be back in Scheveningen. During International Kite Festival Scheveningen, the most special kites from all over the world can be admired. Almost every year, the largest kite in Europe is present, so keep your eyes open! You definitely don’t want to miss this fun event.

Impressive spectacle
Kites and kite flyers from dozens of countries come together at the International Kite Festival Scheveningen. During this event they present all kinds of kite shows and demonstrations in variousthemes and disciplines, namely power kiting, stunt kite flying and mega kite single-line kite flying. The kites come in all kinds of fantastic colors, countless sizes and with the most amazing shapes! You certainly don’t want to miss the show on Saturday evening, because after 20:00 the kites with lights are launched into the air. That promises to be a spectacle!
Fly your own kite
Do you not only want to admire the kites, but also want to launch your kite yourself? That is possible! During this event you can also show your own kite skills. Novice and experienced kite flyers, big or small, everyone can participate. Bring your favorite kite and perform your own spectacle! Please note, register in advance to be able to fly a kite within the fence.
Workshops for children
There are several workshops for children during the festival. Children can make and decorate their dream during these workshops! Are you going for a yellow kite with blue dots? Or maybe a bright pink one with flowers? In any case, do not forget to test your kite when it is finished. Do you already have experience with kites and are you looking for a challenge? Then you can follow a workshop to learn to fly stunt kites.
